Maintaining a healthy and effective culture at Nesma is everyone’s responsibility. Also, the sound reputation of Nesma relies in part on each employee’s commitment to applying the strongest ethical standards in all situations, even where specific rules or guidelines are not sufficient to provide clear direction. That’s why we expect each employee to learn about our expectations and sign the Code of Conduct. Please also keep this document with you for future reference.
What is it? A written guide to all employees concerning daily business dealings
Why is it important? Violating the Code of Conduct results in disciplinary action, which can include termination, litigation, and dissolution of all business relations with Nesma.
Where can I find it? A copy is available to you as part of this website under the compliance section.
After you have read and signed the Code of Conduct, you may still have questions. Ask your HR department or your direct manager for guidance. In all cases, if you experience a situation in which you feel you might be violating the Code, ask yourself:
Is my action legal and ethical?
Does my action comply with corporate policy?
Is my action appropriate in this situation?
Would my action be an embarrassment to the company, if known?
Does my action agree with my personal ethics?
